Radiant's Pilot Coating Line Can Minimize The Cost And Effort Of Developing New Processes Or Enhancing Existing Ones.

Before scaling up to production, customers can now run trials on converting processes and materials affordably and accurately with Radiant Energy's new Pilot Coating Line. Radiant's pilot line runs water-based coatings and can handle roll diameters of 24” and web widths up to 26”.

This equipment is the ideal way to test your process results, experiment with coating properties, perfect new methods and formulas, evaluate process viability, and develop unique products.

The pilot line offers terrific process versatility including coating, drying, curing, laminating and annealing. It is capable of processing many different substrate materials such as paper and paperboard, film, foil, nonwovens and fabrics.

The real beauty of Radiant's pilot line is that customers will be able to try new coatings and processes outside of the capabilities of their existing equipment without making a significant investment. In small scale R&D labs, for example, test samples and speeds may be inconsistent with large scale production machinery. A pilot line facilitates scale-up by accurately replicating the process conditions used in manufacturing, creating more realistic results. The pilot line also makes it easy to modify or enhance an existing process without taking an expensive production system off-line for trial purposes. By operating separately from the manufacturing process, but using the same process technology, Radiant's pilot line can troubleshoot these issues and reduce the time to production. Radiant’s pilot line is the efficient and cost effective way to meet your converting objectives.
